Postgraduate Program

In 2016, with the aim of leveraging our strengths involving education and research in science, agriculture, and engineering fields and succeed with an integrated approach to developing scientists who can help achieve innovation, Yamaguchi University established the Graduate School of Sciences and Technology for Innovation, effectively integrating the disciplinary programs of the Graduate School of Science and Engineering, Graduate School of Agriculture, and Graduate School of Medicine.

In order to achieve social prosperity while overcoming problems of a global scale, we as a people must achieve innovation in every field of study.

In restructuring graduate schools concerned with science, the focus was on requiring students to take common subjects that span multiple divisions in order to not only deepen students' specialized knowledge but also transcend divisional boundaries and clarify the knowledge and skillset students will need, then confer the proper degree upon those who acquire them.
