Dr. Moh. Ismail Wahab and the group of Indonesian Agency for Agriculture Research and Development (IAARD) visited Faculty of Engineering, Yamaguchi University on the 1^st of December.

Kyouwa Kensetsu Kogyo Co.,Ltd. (Hagi-City) has been working in partnership with Yamaguchi University to promote the project of "Supporting SMEs' overseas business expansion" adopted by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The group visited us as a part of investigating the project.

They had a courtesy visit to Dean of Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Shinji and Prof. Matsuda. We introduced Faculty of Engineering and Graduate School of Sciences and Technology for Innovation. Then they explained agriculture in Indonesia and its surroundings situation. Indonesian government is planning for introduction to drainage measures technologies of the paddy field with loss of productivity encompassing more than 3 million and 5 hundred thousand ha. We are expecting that this visit contributes to the further development of the relationship between 2 parties in the future.
