Jim Anderson, a Professor of Organic Chemistry and Prof. Helen C Hailes, a Professor of Chemical Biology, UCL visited Faculty of Engineering, Yamaguchi University on the 15^th of March, holding The 10th Choshu-London Symposium in Chemistry.

They paid a courtesy call on Prof. Shinji, Dean of Faculty of Engineering, Yamaguchi University. They exchanged their opinions regarding their research and further relationship between two parties.

Then we held The 10th Choshu-London Symposium in Chemistry.

The symposium is an academic symposium to the memory of The Choshu Five studied at UCL. In the symposium, 5 researchers from the field in Engineering, Medicine and Science had a presentation on Development of Biochemistry and Medicine based Organic Chemistry. The Audiences listened attentively to the research.

We are expecting that this visit contributes to the further development of our both academic staff and students' relationship in the future.
