Based on the Erasmus+, Prof. Ensar Gül, Dean of College of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Istanbul Sehir University and 3 administrative officers of Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Portugal, Ms. Raquel Martinho, Célia Janota, Carlotta Pisano visited Faculty of Engineering, Yamaguchi University from the 3rd of July for a week.

On the first day, they gave a courtesy call on Prof. Shinji, Dean of Faculty of Engineering. They introduced their universities and exchanged their opinion about the future relationship among the parties.

Then they moved to Yoshida Campus, which is the main campus of Yamaguchi University located in Yamaguchi City, and met Vice President (International Cooperation) Miura and visited the facilities in the campus. They also visited Prof. Shigyo and LED irradiation optimized for plant growth facilities and learned the Shigyo Method for Cultivation. After that, they visited Main Library.

Furthermore, Prof. Ensar Gül gave a lecture on "Design Patterns" in English. Audiences are students of Intelligent Systems and Media Engineering Course and Information Systems Engineering Course, Division of Electrical, Electronic and Information Engineering, Graduate School of Sciences and Technology for Innovation, who were all ears and worked hard in the lecture.

In addition, they interacted with both academic and administrative staff, our student, and enjoyed experiencing calligraphy and the tea ceremony with international students.

Through Erasmus+, we expect our further continuous relationship each other and promoting globalization on research and education in the future.
